Mrs. Daly's Backstory
I'm originally from Brookings, SD. There I attended elementary school, middle school, high school and even college at South Dakota State University. I earned a BS in Mathematics along with my teaching license. After graduating, I moved to Pipestone, MN where I taught geometry and an algebra/geometry hybrid course for 3 years at Pipestone/Jasper High School. In 2001 I moved to the Omaha area where I taught geometry, algebra, and algebra 2 at Bellevue East High School. At both of these schools I also coached basketball and volleyball. In 2005, I made the decision to take a break from teaching to stay home and raise my 3 children. When my youngest started kindergarten at SJS, I decided to go to school with him. I was the kindergarten para at SJS for two years before being given the opportunity to teach math again at the junior high level. I am very excited to be back in the classroom teaching math! I enjoy playing basketball, volleyball, watching football, going to movies, and spending time with my family. My husband and I have been married for 21 years and we have 3 kids. Ella is a freshman at UNO, Ethan is a senior at Skutt Catholic, and Eli is in the 8th grade at SJS. We also have a 11 year old goldendoodle named Molly. If you need to contact me, please email me at [email protected]. I am so happy to be at St. James/Seton and I look forward to working with a great group of junior high students! |
